I have used Marriott many times, all over Europe and rate it highly. Constantly maintaining a high standard.
Attended a conference and dinner here. Good city centre location with adjacent parking at Trinity Car Park. Hotel very comfortable with a very relaxed but high end vibe. Staff friendly and capable. Conference food and facilities were excellent. Special mention must go to Maggie who co-ordinated set up and staff for our Conference Dinner and band event and ensured everything went smoothly and to time coping with all of our last minute demands and managing her staff superbly.Thank you Marriott!
Friendly staff, register system at night which I think is a great idea in terms of safety. Nice bar area. Little amenity bar at entrance (to be paid for).
The room was clean & comfortable. It had everything needed for the basics. Reception staff were efficient on arrival & sorted the car park admin etc There was a big car park - free to use as long as the car was registered on arrival. Shipley is a good base to go to the beautiful parts of Yorkshire (Shipley is over-developed & has too many neon signs)
Excellent level as expected of a Marriott Hotel
Good value for money for an ex Marriott hotel!
the Marriott hotel was a lovely place to stay and had great facilities in and around it
we had a lovely stay at the Leeds Marriott hotel, great location, room very clean, modern feel to the hotel and great value for money
The room was well up to the standard I expect from the Marriott hotels. Breakfast choice was good, but like all buffet breakfasts suffers from the food only being at most times luke warm.
The hotel was a Marriott hotel but is now under Britannia, which I'm assured is not the best move they could have made. However, the hotel is large, comfortable, luxurious in certain ways and enjoyable. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and in the twin room it was lovely to have a double bed each, especially on such a hot night. The staff at breakfast were lovely, although the scrambled egg was like liquid. . It was nice to see that a hotel was doing business and obvious that the spa centre is very popular.
