The hotel’s restaurant (l’Ambassador) welcomes guests to the heart of a magnificent patio where they will discover elaborate gastronomic cuisine made with fresh and local products. We booked a privilege room which was a corner room and was excellent. The air conditioning worked well, and bed was very comfortable. We were on the very outskirts of the city centre but close to a river which we enjoyed that evening as well as having tapas and crepes all by the river, so lovely. We had a wonderful breakfast the next morning at the hotel which had the tastiest brioche i have ever had. Scrambled eggs were delicious. Our last experience in a mercure hotel was not a good one but this made up for it big time. The staff at the reception were so lovely and helpful.
