Location was the reason I chose the Eastgate Mercure. I was pleasantly surprised that the facilities were so good; the staff were very helpful. I would recommend this hotel & plan to stay there when I return next May.

Lovely place, they have made great use of space . Loved different areas & of course, hot tub. Ideal place to relax & chill especially for special occasions. Lovely touch "happy anniversary banner, Rose petals on bed & bottke of presecco in fridge. Grest comms & very useful.info like directions & how to use hot tub & tv's. Loved the place. Lovely pub just round corner "the trigger pond" great food & according staff.

Stayed at Mercure Hawkewell House the day before and their breakfast was better quality and cheaper

The Mercure Hotel was a lovely place to stay. The rooms were lovely, and the morning breakfast was lovely. Thank you to all the staff at Mercure Hotel. i will look forward to staying again in the future

spacious foyer with amusing artwork all done by the owner according to the lovely reception staff. Rooms were comfortable and well equipped.

Mercure are always good hotels. Staff very helpful and charming. Food a bit disappointing. Dinner OKbut not great and breakfast disappointing. The hot food was pre cooked and the continental breakfast option was not of a good standard. Staff lovely and very pleasant on reception and in restaurant. Would stay again if in the area.

I sent two nights at this hotel within a few days. My first room on the third floor was acceptable, nothing special but functional and perfectly adequate for my needs. The location was excellent and the staff on duty polite and efficient. Accordingly I booked a second night the following week

comfortable and big, in accordance with price.

Room quite different, with sky light, a bit cold on arrival, but adjusted A.C. accordingly Love comfortable bed and shower, very good, Like separate, refreshments area.good quality products 👌✨
