The Aberdeen Motel provided a reasonable base in a fantastic location. From Whycocomagh, we were able to access all of Cape Breton's many attractions within day trips - from the Cabot Trail Highlands to Glace Bay near the Port of Sydney. The Miner's Museum in Glace Bay was particularly compelling. If you want fancy, the Aberdeen is not for you. If you want basic at a good price, then the Aberdeen is a valid choice.

The location was central for our travels. The grounds are very beautiful and well kept. There is a stream that flows beside the motel adding to the beauty.
