Knight's Inn exceeded our expectations. Our room was larger than expected and very, very clean. We felt a lot safer in the area than expected, and had no issues with sound from the other rooms. The staff were very friendly, and accommodating in our request to check in early. The breakfast was better than expected and had a variety of light options (pastries/muffins, fruit, oatmeal, coffee/tea). For a budget motel option, we were pleasantly surprised. The location is perfect for seeing Salem on a budget.

We had a reservation at a neighboring motel, but left due to safety and cleanliness concerns. We found the Comfort Hotel clean, friendly and safe.

Comfortable bed configuration , the couch allows to sit and watch TV not in the bed. The bathroom is very comfortable, clean and modern looking. The pool looks decent, unfortunately we were not able to visit it (closed early). Big free parking. -There is a waterpark that is connected to the hotel, but it seems that it is more oriented on small children. - it was nice to get a warm cookie on the check-in

This motel has scaled back to the most basic of services. No fridge, shampoo, wifi, coffee, not even a mattress pad.
