The apartment was roomy enough for 6 people to have common and private space, which was important to three generations traveling together. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes and cookware. And all areas were clean and neat. Outdoor kitchen was a bonus.

Offering views of the Saint-Lawrence River, this motel is 280 meters from the ferry that links Saint-Siméon to Rivière du Loup. Be sure to get river view!!! Roomy balcony with four chairs and small table. Staff very accommodating—laundry and ice available.

The room had everything we needed including fridge, microwave, coffee, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This elegantly-decorated Saint-Simeon motel is located in Quebec’s scenic Charlevoix region. Free Wi-Fi access is available in rooms. The guest rooms at Motel Cofotel also have cable TV. The room was very large with air conditioning. We were given a free upgrade to 2 queen beds instead of one queen bed. The lovely lady at the check-in desk let us park out front with our truck, I think because we had kayaks and bikes on it. The hotel is on the main highway. No road noise, quiet room. We had a fridge in the room but no microwave. The sparkling clean bathroom had all amenities including a hair dryer. The bed was very comfortable and fresh. 2 blocks from the ferry terminal and three restaurants.

Aux Portes du Soleil is a motel located within 10 minutes' walk from the restaurants, art galleries and shops on St-Jean-Batiste Street. A train station and public market are also nearby. Very good location. Convenient to all the attractions. The owner is very nice and helpful.
