Location was perfect; bars, shops and restaurants nearby. Clean rooms, i think it was every other day when the maid cleaned up the rooms. And the lady at the reception was really helpful and spoke good english. The noise coming from constructions was a bit disturbing, but one can live with that. The lock of the toilet didn't work though. Still, again, one can live with that. Only real minuses was that every time you want to re-lock your safety box, u have to pay 1 euro and the wlan wasn't free of charge, as it should be. Overall, hostal was a good experience. |

Staff is nice, and maybe thats all you can get in this city for this price. Room was unpleasent, not clean and smely. You can hear everything on the other rooms. |

Good price, given location The fact that you have to get the 'Conserje' of the building to bring you up and let you in after 11pm. Too much hassle. |

The staff were very friendly and helpful, but overall the standard of the hotel was very much according to its price. You get what you pay for and for 30 euros a night it was reasonable. |

Conveniently located on Gran Via. We were appalled that one day we came back and the house cleaner had left our room door wide open all day. We didn't even get an apology, and we were so lucky that all our stuff was not stolen. We did not like that you have to hand back your key at reception, then ring the door bell to get let in every time. Once we had to wait nearly 10 minutes at the door to get let in. |

the hotel was near the metro Gran via, very convinient. Basic room. the room was so so, with basic function, if you pay same money at other cities you can have better room, but Madrid is big city so you can not expect much... |

Very happy with the Hotel, its central, walking distance to most sites, and about 100 metres from the Metro, which is 30 minutes from the airport. Staff friendly, hotel clean, good security if you stay out late. Great value for money. Room was a little small, but considering the price we paid it was more than adequate. |

Great localization near to gran via metro. The hostal is too noisy as well. The Bathroom is small. Value for money - a litlle expensive. |

The room was very clean and had housekeeping everyday. The heating didnt work - which left me very cold at night. They couldnt improve it, so all I got was an extra blanket the next night. Even though the room was single, I expect a door at the bathroom! The staff was rather rude to me. |

La ubicacion porque te permite moverte a pie por el centro de Madrid o utilizar el metro y la cercania a la estacion de Atocha El espacio de la habitacion de 3 personas. Es muy reducido y apenas te puedes mover. |

La ubicación Habitación y lavabo muy pequeños. Mala insonoración respecto a las habitaciones de al lado,se oía todo como si estuvieran en tu habitación. |

De locatie is uitstekend zoals ook de prijskwaliteit verhouding. Gelukkig konden we andere batterijen voor de airco krijgen want die was, hoewel het apparaat best wat herrie maakte, hard nodig. We hadden een kamer aan de achterkant waardoor we geen last hadden van straatgeluiden. Het hostal is wat gehorig (geluiden van andere gasten) en hoewel het raam wagenwijd openstaat komt er weinig frisse lucht binnen. |

Het hotel lig op een uitstekende locatie in het centrum van Madrid. De muren tussen de hotelkamers zijn erg gehorig, waardoor je stemmen van de hotelgasten op de aangrenzende kamer goed kan horen. Er zijn singel rooms die net een bezemkast zijn en geen dachlicht hebben doordat het raam op een binnenplaats met hoge muren uitkijkt. |
