Silken Gran Hotel Havana

We stayed 5 nights at the hotel. We had a standard classic room. It was a reasonable size with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was in need of updating but it all worked. Facilities in room were very good and it was superbly cleaned daily. We only used the restaurant for breakfast which had everything you could desire regardless of where in the world you come from. No one seemed to use the Hotel Restaurant for dinner, not tourists anyway. Mix of international tourists and Spanish business, conference rooms in use daily. We found all the staff to be very friendly,helpful and accurate in their knowledge. The roof top pool was a delight considering the small space, with chairs, tables, a bar and a few sunbeds although never enough due to the space restriction unless you were there before 10am. Location was perfect. 10 mins walk to Placa de Catalunya and Las Ramblas. Also 2 Metro stations very close by. Why cant London Underground be this easy to navigate and this good. I would recommend the hotel to couples and older families, no little kids. We loved it.

The general comfort of the hotel and the easy assistance provided by the staff. The food was excellent and good value.

Very nice Hotel, Clean and comfortable.

Had request a balcony with 2 twin beds as shown on Bookings web site as well as Silken Gran wb site. However, both web sites contain wrong information. If someone requesting balcony might need to check with hotel before booking.

I love that hotel. it is in an ideal location in the Eixample district and and close to everything. It is classy and comfortable.

I have stayed at this hotel before, and this time it was a little more expensive than i remembered or wished for it to be.

Nice size room with good amenities. View was not as good as expected.Pricy but I guess we are used to north american rates.

No breakfast after 10am. which didn't allow much of a sleep in
