the staff were friendly, decor was good. the restaurant was closed ,one reason we picked hotel. room service only, as only one chair in room not very convenient. It was further from Placa de Cataluyna to walk every night + day to eat. |

It's located a little bit away from the busy tourist areas, but still within a healthy walking distance. Close to the Line 1 metro station "Urgell" - the stop is at the bottom of the Villarroel street where the hotel is. The eastern part of Eixemple where the hotel is actually a nice area to explore as well. The room had very poor sound proof - could hear footsteps on the wooden floor coming from all four walls! We didn't get the double bed we requested for - the reception wanted to charge extra for that saying the info on booking.com wasn't correct! |

The desk clerk, Dito, was incredibly helpful and friendly. Gave us lots of good advice about where to eat and details on how to get around. Bus stop is right outside, Metro a few blocks away. Lots within walking distance. Very quiet and safe. The rooms were modern, immaculate, like new, and we made use of the free internet (their computer in the hallway). |

You were able to access British Television in your hotel room Air conditioning in room was not cold, just blew out air. Room Service and Restaurant Menu was very poor and expensive. Sauna and Steam Room in the Spa were very dirty and didnt work even when requested at reception. Myself and my partner were not informed on arrival of any of the amenities at the hotlel. Overall very dissapointed by our stay. |

Reasonable location and satisfactory, comfortable accommodation. Perfectly suitable for a few days exploring in Barcelona. Starting to show its age. It could do with some maintenance and a lick of paint in places. |

The location was very good for walking to various parts of the city and having a bus stop across the street was very handy for getting to Placa Cataluna. The staff was friendly and helpful in answering our many questions. The twin room we had was a bit small. There were no drawers to place some clothing items. Wireless Internet access was not consistent. I felt it was more of a 3 star hotel and a bit overpriced for off-season and overall facilities. |

Hotel was comfortable and relaxing, it had all amenities necessary, particularly the fact that there were english channels on the tv was good. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was really good also. I would have liked to have an indoor pool. |

Hotel was very functional Restaurant staff were excellent Menu was limited for evening meal Steam room was not functioning properly. Comfortable hotel and I would stay again if I visit Barcelona (asset test) The room I stayed in 506 had an adjoining room door which was not sound proofed I was lucky my neighbour was not noisy otherwise it may not have been so pleasant |

A spotless, modern city hotel with good facilities. Nice breakfast. Good price and location compromise. While most of the catering/cleaning staff were friendly and informative the reception staff/managers were a little unhelpful and uninformed in relation to the local area and amenities. |

Clean and comfortable room. Approx 20 mins walk from Sants station that takes you to/from the airport in less than 20 mins. The jacuzzi was not heated up enough. They were unable to offer spa-treatments during our stay (Fri-Mon). And it was one of the reasons why we chose this hotel in the first place... There is some walking to get to restaurants/shopping/Gaudi/beach. We didn't mind but could be good to know before you book this hotel that it is not really city center located. |
