I liked the fact that, as a party of three, not one of us had anything to complain about over a period of six days. Great location for exploring Madrid. Blissfully cool in the heat of the city and although we had a tiny 4th floor viewing balcony overlooking Gran Via the door technology completely protected us from the noise of the street. Efficient, friendly staff. |

Generally the hotel was comfortable though room small. Good selection of food for breakfast. I didn't like the layout of dining room as we were placed next to kitchen door at breakfast time and could hear all the clattering from the kitchen as well as the door banging back and forth all the time. Room was non-smoking but smelt of smoke. |

Very central location, everything within walking distance, we never used the metro during the 4 days. However on a big and noisy road. But we had the chance to choose between front or back room when checking-in, this was very good ( I suppose it is based on availability). By walking around I've seen many central, but more relaxed located 3 star hotels, so next time I would book in one of those. |

The staff were friendly and helpful at all times.The room was of a reasonable size and the bathroom was good, particularly the shower.The hotel's location on the Gran Via was excellent, perfect for a city break, where you want to explore the city. The beds were a little hard. |

This was fantastic location. The breakfast is absaloutely excellent. Staff extremely helpful. Could not find fault with any part of the hotel, would highly recommend when going again would definitely stay at this hotel. half a minute from metro station. |

We found the hotel very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. We also found the proximately of the hotel good for what we wanted to do. the only thing we did not like about the hotel is it was very hard to get a drink at night. The bar closed at 11.00 which was not a problem but you were left ages before being served and you got the impression you were only a nuisence when you asked for drinks. We also found the bar staff not very friendly. |

I liked the standard of the hotel, its proximity to the trasures of Madrid and friendly staff. I would have enjoyed a bit more if the hotel staff was speaking better English. |
