This property was beautiful, in a quiet area, and a quick 10 minute drive to the city center. The place itself was very clean, comfortable and the views are amazing. This is also in walking distance to a Bonus, coffee shop and a burger place. I highly recommend booking this place if you’re looking! The owners also provided us with a very helpful email on the basics of the house.

It was the perfect place to stay, near the bus station, very pleasant and also Yousef was very kind and helpful when we needed help to find a way to get to the bus station. We appreciated it, becuase we were having trouble figuring these things out as we were on foot!

I will be staying here again next time I visit Reykjavik! the facilities are clean, tidy, and very comfortable. They have someone to keep the place tidy throughout the day. I really appreciated the fact that they were so accommodating for me. I had a series of issues with flights (ended up arriving a day late) & then ended up needing to stay an extra day (which they included with my original payment; no extra charge). I also booked an excursion and messed up my email, in which I was able to speak with Fridrik (I believe who is one of the owners) who was able to help me receive my confirmation for my tour. The rules and security they have set in place made me feel very safe as a solo female traveler. Noise was kept to a minimum & everyone was very respectful of each other and the communal areas. 10/10 recommend Igdlo guesthouse! Other Positives: - easy to find on the map/gps/direction apps - checking in after-hours instructions were clear & easy to follow - staff is very friendly & helpful - checkout process is easy - easy walk to downtown & bus stops where excursion companies use as pick-up locations

Location of the hotel was perfect. It was off the noisy street but close enough to catch our buses for our tours. The staff was nice and helpful. The breakfast was exceptionally good. It had something for everyone. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The vehicle mechanics was in good repair and had no problems after the broken window. The mechanic found me at a campsite and fixed the window at 1:00 am the first morning. The heater worked great and kept me warm. I was able to camp and visit many places in Iceland.

The staffs are friendly. Check in were simple and quick. Reykjavik church is within walking distance and there are many restaurants nearby.

Nice decor inside..cool looking atrium. Very helpful staff with check in 1 hour early. Nice quiet room with very comfortable bed.
