The location of the hotel was perfect, being just next to the sea (even though it's a sea that you cannot swim in or walk on it's beach). I had an unobstructed view of the sea from my room. Although the shopping mall is a good 15 minutes walk away, there are many restaurants, pubs and hawker stalls within 10 minutes walk from the hotel. In fact, Gurney Drive is a happening place in the evening. For durian lovers, there's also a stall almost next to Bali Hai, the seafood restaurant, that sells Balik Pulau durians at a very reasonable price.…
