Set amid the impressive landscape of the Salzkammergut in Styria, this 4-star superior hotel offers a unique location on a plateau above Bad Aussee and beautiful panoramic views of the Dachstein. Great location. Amazing breakfast and food in general. Every single member of the staff delivers perfect service. This is challenging and a great achievement. Respect. The room was nice and most importantly quiet. The view to the Loser is wonderful. I’m not the Spa type so I didn’t use it a lot but it’s nice, it was not overcrowded and the teabar plus nuts and dry fruit is welcomed. I would have appreciated a higher water temperature in the pools but that’s minor. It was warm enough to feel good inside. The golf course is around the corner and next to the hotel. I’m not an expert but the course looked rather mediocre to me and just as much maintained as necessary. But that’s not part of the hotel and not their responsibility. I will definitely come back again.

It's a cosy hotel in the middle of mountains with beautiful sights from windows. The personnel are friendly, they can speak English. The hotel has provided us with a big room instead of a booked small one and the room was really big, comfortable and clean. Also we have had a delicious breakfast with a lot of different products. Despite the fact that we have only spent a night in the hotel we really liked being there.

This is an excellent place with friendly staff, and an outstanding chef. Meals are just wonderful. besides, the Hotel is in the absolute centre of Tauplitzalm, with places of interest in both directions. The bed was comfortable (though a bit soft, but we liked it), and the sauna is also cool (I mean, hot!). By the way the place is run by Hungarians, and this does good to it!

Beautiful view , modern architecture with large ceiling- to- floor windows and generous terraces - all facing the mountains, floor heating, very clean, large and comfortable living and eating areas within the apartment, cosy little bedrooms. Everything looked and felt new and modern. The garden must be lovely in the summer (nice touch with the four 🦙:)).
