We booked this hotel last minute as an overnight stay during our travels around Cape Breton. The reviews weren’t the best but the price and location suited us so we decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised how great things turned out. Yes the motel is old but the room was freshly painted and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the wifi was adequate. I’m my mind we got great value for the money.

I loved everything about this property. The owner, the colours of the building are so sharp, the rooms are great, clean, quiet and comfy. Great restaurant in front of the hotel and the water on the other side with a beautiful beach. Thanks so much also for accommodating my mistake on the booking. That shows the true Cape Breton hospitality.

This was my favourite hotel out of all the hotels we stayed in while on our vacation. The staff was so friendly and although the hotel seemed full every night It was very quiet at night. The location was great. We stayed, drove the Cabot Trail and stayed another night. I will definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Cape Breton.

The hotel is so nice and provides extremely excellent service. We forgot something at hotel and they mail it to to my home. I will check in again when the next time we are travelling to Cape Breton. This hotel is high recommended.

The hotel had my favorite views in the Cape Breton area. The staff, parrot the front desk person, were hard working friendly and helpful. The Heritage Museum grounds next were wonderful for an evening walk.i would

Great location for exploring Cape Breton. Very clean and comfortable. Close to some great restaurants. Baddeck is lovely town with much to offer.

The breakfast is very good. We choose this hotel because it is a good starting point for us to tour the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton Island.

Thé house is nice and well located on the Cape Breton road. There is a grocery store nearby. Breakfast was good

The location of this hotel is great for a stay in Sydney, Cape Breton. Easy walk to many venues.

Very clean, great location and easy check in process

I had such a memorable stay at Cabot shores. Special kudos to Sunny, Kritika and Rutwik for making me and my family feel at home. They also helped me with checkin date adjustment as i had an emergency. They went above and beyond to help us with our requests starting from getting our room ready early, providing a detailed overview of property to arranging food, helping with ad hoc requests such as hot water. The food is soooo yum (chickpea and pasta). The property is set in wilderness, very scenic with a nice beach where you reach by pulling rope over a small boat - great experience! Very close to igonish too. The only down is limited washroom esp for bath but overall i highly recommend this place to anyone!

Our 2 night stay here was exceptional! The owners are so friendly, warm and accommodating. They upgraded our cabin which is beyond nice- the rooms were the perfect size, super quiet, cozy and most importantly for me, everything in the space was clean/dusted and spider free! It was obvious that the owners want guests to have a relaxing and worry free time. The wifi connection was very fast- especially compared to the rest of our stays in Cape Breton.

Great location. Amazing service from Keli. She was very friendly and helpful with everything. Definitely will recommend and come again!

The facilities in the cottages were exceptional. The kitchen was stocked way better than many airbnb's. The staff was super helpful and very nice. Although we didn't use it, the games room looked amazing!

Was one of the most pleasant stays during our trip!
