Recently restored boutique hotel from 1929, located on the beachfront in Bakio. Exquisite architecture with attention to detail and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations on places to dine and visit. Breakfast was delicious and we especially liked the toast, tomato confit, and jamón. The fresh baked bread and pastries were also a treat!! Will definitely stay there again and recommend!

Lurdeia was so beautiful and lovingly cared for, from the hotel itself and it’s rooms, to the well tended grounds, and the delicious breakfasts artistically served and most of all the kindness of our hosts. We felt well cared.

Set on the Bay of Biscay, this charming hotel is located in Mendexa, 5 minutes’ drive from Lekeitio and 20 km from Mutriku. It offers a seasonal outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi. Everything!!! The views are incredible and it was very clean. The garden, the surroundings, the closeness to Lekeitio. Wifi was working great. The breakfast was optional for 5-8,5 eur.

Luruna Palacio has its own secured car park which is not always the case in Spain. Above all, the staff of this hotel are exceptional. Our big thanks to the lovely Itsasu. She’s often above and beyond her duty helping her guests, she’s a real asset to the hotel. Itsasu made our stay extra special. Big kisses & hugs from Australia :)
