A beautiful city.
A beautiful city. With a constant flow of pilgrims arriving daily I was encouraged how warm the welcome is for visitors. I felt very comfortable wandering around the city. I plan to return and go to other nearby locations as well.Guest review byJaneUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Bus transport in this town we struggled with, so we ended up hiring a car. Trains are very good. We definitely stayed too long, there is not a lot to do here. The beaches we did get to see were lovely, wished we stayed near a beach rather than town.Guest review byLesley HarveyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Pretty city with lovely river walks and the old town was gorgeous. Beautiful churches and basilicas which were free to visit. The restaurants were excellent and a wide range of cuisines. It was a bit hectic driving around town and parking on the street was difficult. However, there were many inexpensive carparks available. The people were friendly and learning a little Spanish before visiting this region, will go a long way.Guest review byBelindaAustralia - 8.0
A different Spain, on the north west tip of the country.
A different Spain, on the north west tip of the country. Weather can be trying, wind and rain are ever present possibilities. Despite the hills, easily walkable. Good bus service, pay the driver. Proximity to Santiago de Compostela by rail and bus. Direct flight by Vuelling from Gatwick.Guest review byRobertUnited Kingdom - 10.0
I was pleased with my time in Arzua. I was tired.
I was pleased with my time in Arzua. I was tired. It was a long hard walk with a 40 lb pack on my back, so reaching Arzua and having a clean comfortable bed with a private bathroom and the promise of a hearty breakfast the next morning was a bonus. Also I learned that I could have someone courier my back pack to my next destination was a very welcome piece of news.Guest review byPamelaCanada - 10.0

O Pedrouzo is a small town on the way to El Camino De Compostela. We only needed to stay one night and that was enough. I'm not sure if there were much to do in town. We tried two restaurants El Bule and Galaicos that serve traditional Galician food. Prices were fair and food was good.Guest review byJuan - 10.0

It was amazing to arrive in Portomarin and dip my feet in the river. It was the best foot spa experience I have ever had. Great spot to rest when walking the Camino from Sarria. There was a couple of people singing and playing a guitar under a bridge and that made the whole experience even more romantic.Guest review byMaryIreland - 10.0

The coastal view of REDONDELA is refreshing and offers an interesting backdrop of the place especially the towns and countryside we passed by walking from Vigo on our way to Santiago de Compostela. We wished we could have stayed a bit longer.Guest review byAntonioUnited States
