City Hotel, Rovaniemi Very good 8.3 The breakfast was excellent and staff super helpful. Keep in mind that the hotel has a couple of bicycles for the guests!!!
Santa's Hotel Santa Claus Very good 8.4 Everything! Huge breakfast buffet, clean room, comfortable bed, very nice and new interior, clean bath (with a big bathtub) and located right in the centre
Santa's Hotel Tunturi Good 7.6 I had booked for a four nights stay and to my surprise, for the money I paid, I got a full sized apartment with one large living room, small fully furbished kitchen and even a small sauna. Much more than I was hoping for.
Santasport Resort, Rovaniemi Good 7.7 Swimming pool, gym, breakfests
Hotel Hullu Poro, Levi Good 7.7 The atmosphere in Hullu Poro is very nice, and the staff is friendly, smiling and professional.
Hotel Levi Panorama Excellent 8.8 Beautiful views, great helpful staff and Martin was brilliant and very helpful via emails we exchanged. Food both at breakfast and dinner were excellent.
Lapland Hotel Saaga Apartments Very good 8 our apartment was in the annex just across the street from the main building. The gondola lift is 2 mins away! the apartment consists of everything you need during your stay (fully equipped kitchen, exsiccator and the sauna - perfect after all-day snowboarding). at reception we got the key from free ski storage on the ground floor of the annex. everything was perfect, very comfortable apartment, we felt like at home!!! Will definitely come back in this apartment for the second time!!!!!
Break Sokos Hotel Levi Very good 8.3 Location is very good, and our room got sauna inside. It's a very comfortable room!!! Staff are so friendly and helpful!!
Kakslauttanen Igloo East Village Good 7.2 I loved everything about this place. The owner Jussi was wonderful in giving me a tour of his property. The staff are wonderful and very personable. They are there to make your stay comfortable. 1. Yes there is a charge for taking your luggage out there. After towing your luggage through gravel paths, you will understand why they charge the 8/9 Euros. It will be worth it. You can store your luggage if you are going to the glass igloo. 2. The log cabins have their own sauna and shower area inside each cabin. There is refrigerator, stove, sink, dining table, private porch area and counter. I was traveling by myself. My cabin also had double bunk beds and a king size bed. 3. The resort does serve dinner but the front desk does not stay open all night so make sure you have If you are coming here. There is a to grocery store in Saariselka. I hailed a taxi to grab groceries and back. **Ask the reception to call a taxi for you. From the signage, it appears only taxi approved by the hotel will be allowed on premise. 4. There is NO television nor internet (wi-fi signals) on the property EXCEPT in the reception area. 5. If you are planning on dining in the dining hall, make sure to reserve your slot and let them know if you cannot eat certain food as the menu is fixed. They catered to my "no fish" diet and the food is AMAZING. Seriously, the best salad dressing and steak I have ever tasted! Try a local drink. I tried something called Reindeer Piss and Jussi's Tawdy. There is a main gift shoppe but ask to see the one gated off. There are more expensive items and fur. Also clothing made by the Sami people. I loved my stay, the crisp air, the great staff. I wish to thank Jussi, Joti, Angela, and all the wonderful staff at the reception. My stay was truly enjoyable.
Kakslauttanen Igloo West Village Pleasant 6.6 Beautiful experience. The Igloo's are very comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful & always ready to answer any questions.
Spa Hotel Levitunturi Very good 8.2 It dies everything it says. The spa is worth the trip alone. Great for families with children of all ages. And within Levi there is so much to do. The town leaves sledges lying around and the free kinder land is especially good for sledging and learning to ski
Santa Claus Holiday Village Excellent 8.9 The staff were amazing!! They went above and beyond my expectations especially the owner Inga and worker Sala. Any questions we had and information we wanted they would help us and it never felt like a business, more like a home. The cottage with sauna is perfect, cosy and clean! Town is situated a 20 euro taxi away and must go to Nilis whilst there, the hotel suggested and we were not disappointed.
Saariselkä Inn Good 7.4 Loved the staff, everyone was very helpful and friendly. Morning breakfast was a great start to the day and within walking distance to the slopes
Levin Alppitalot Alpine Chalets Deluxe Excellent 8.8 Great location and at only €10 more than the hostel price we almost went to, the facilities were infinitely better. Sauna was a great touch and even had the amenities to match the utilities (coffee maker with filters provided etc)
Lapland Hotel Saaga Very good 8 The staff were great and could not be more helpful. The high ceilings in the superior rooms are worth the extra money. We would love to come again.
