Aurora Estates is a lovely little gem with a great restaurant. Our room was small, but cozy with great water pressure in the shower! Very quiet, with easy access to all the fun winter activities.

Hotel Ylläshumina is beautifully located by Lake Äkäslompolo, near the village of Äkäslompolo. Loved the food in the restaurant. Great breakfast. And amazing outdoor jacuzzi.

This hotel is located in the center of the village of Ylläsjärvi, 328 feet from Lake Ylläsjärvi. Hotel is spacious with great breakfast and nice and warm sauna. Many common areas to spend time with your friends.

The Lapland Hotel Ylläskaltio provides functional accommodations with ski routes and sledding tracks starting right outside the door. A ski shuttle is available from the front of the hotel. Well situated; near the lake, which is an excellent spot for Northern lights (w/o street lighning) and very close to good Snowfunsafari where we booked all our excursions, next door to a gourmet restaurant Poro. The breakfast of the hotel if excellent, large variety of dishes. We enjoyed local and continental breakfast (our doughters loved the self made gauffres :-) We did not test the dinner. We also loved there were available slides and local "potkuri" to have a ride on the snow.

Featuring garden views, B&B Adventures in Äkäslompolo features accommodations, a garden, a terrace, and barbecue facilities. The decoration in the upstairs common room was very inviting and created a cozy vibe. The young woman welcoming us and cooking our breakfast was very friendly and it was nice chatting to her and the other guests in the kitchen. The B&B was a short walk away from several restaurants in the very small town.
