The venue is amazing, mixes country cottage and modern very well. Staff was pleasant, welcoming, and helpful. My room, beyond having all the facilities necessary and a Nespresso machine, had a lot of character.

Holiday Inn Express St. Albans - M25, Jct.22 is located a three-minute drive from Junction 22 on the M25 motorway. The hotel offers a 24-hour front desk, free WiFi, and parking. This is my third time here. The staff has been very kind and I appreciate the fact that they have offered me the same room if possible when I return in a few months. Breakfast is decent as well!

Staff were excellent, so friendly and helpful. The hotel was lovely, rooms furnished well and very clean. The food was very good, both presented well and tasted great, and one of us is gluten free and the waitress was extremely helpful in showing what we could eat.

This splendid manor house is set in 35 acres of wooded parkland and offers modern facilities in historic surroundings. The property features an indoor pool and a gymnasium. What a beautiful spot, a throw back to another era with the formal house, dining, and gardens replete with peafowl. We arrived by bus and on foot, saw a play at the theatre right next door, and enjoyed the Tring Natural History Museum. The staff were welcoming and - once we revealed our own lack of formality - funny. We would love to return. The pool was beautiful too!

The hotel is in a beautiful historical building in a charming Hertfordshire village. There are lovely walks in the Hertfordshire countryside directly from the hotel. We stay in this hotel 3 or 4 times a year when visiting family and wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in the area.

From Start to finish all the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. There was no snobbery shown. The bedrooms were spotless, the breakfast was so good, fresh hot, and very tasty. The ground are absolutely beautiful, and the gardeners were friendly. Absolutely loved the place. My brother in law passed away to pancreatic cancer in Sussex, and I had been in Brighton for 4 days. I came up to ware as one of my dearest friends Ann had passed away to cancer leaving her husband, son, and daughter behind. She got to see her children Marry but didn't get to meet her 2 granddaughter as both her kids were expecting their first child. It was heartbreaking, but Fanhams Hall gave me the space and kindness I needed to stay strong and grieve in my own time. Thank you all so much Kind regards Sarah Ellis

Traditional pub with traditional features, no straight lines- so not for those that want modern decor. Comfortable with good atmosphere, bed very comfortable and room a good size. Staff very pleasant, parking available but not guaranteed. Excellent location for those that want to explore the centre of St Albans on foot. Didn't have breakfast but restaurant area for dining looked very nice.

Stunning. Rooms were spacious. Beds and pillows were comfortable. The cocktails in the bar were really terrific and I'm quite fussy when it comes to a Whiskey sour. The breakfast was excellent. The decor in the bar was stunning.
