The hotel was newly refurbished to a very high standard. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The bedrooms we used (three) were spotlessly clean, very well furnished, well equipped and very comfortable.The full English breakfast was beautifully prepared and served.We plan to return as soon as possible and are already recommending it to friends and family. Service on all fronts was superb! Comfortable and clean rooms with all the necessary trimmings. Restaurant food (drinks, dinner snacks and breakfast) was delicious. The hotel is full of tradition and the atmosphere is quaint and inviting throughout. It is really an opportunity to experience something different, where you step back to a time of luxury and opulence, this is a beautiful setting where the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The new owners are doing a wonderful job. I would not hesitate to recommend or revisit this establishment.…
