We had an amazing time at Samyama retreat. It's a perfectly calm place in the jungle just a 3min walk from a wonderful, small beach - beautifully located huts near a small river and you wake up feeling like in a tree house. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional, made sure we were happy & content, organised a pick-up from the airport and gave us good tips on places to see in the area. The whole crew was very kind and the atmosphere is calm & relaxed. No problem with mosquitos and it gets nice and cool during the nights. Complimentary morning tea/coffee to enjoy on the balcony and fruit juices to die for. Dinners were also super delicious. Make sure to try their lassi and Malai Kofta or Palak Paneer. So good. You have to know that the road leading up to Samyama is a bit difficult to drive on but it's absolutely worth it. We walked a lot around here, too. Take a 20min walk down to Agonda to get the beach town vibe/some vegan restaurants like Zest or 45mins to Kakolem beach (beautiful remote lagune) which was a tip we got here. We will definitely come back to Samyama if we come back to Goa in the future!

We arrived at the area at around 2 am and she really waited for us and make sure we settled in along with her staff. We love the refreshing ambiance and a peaceful place to be in. There are more future plans for the place that we look forward to such as stargazing, BBQ place, camp fire and many more great ideas that she shared with us in the morning. Surely a one night stay isn't enough for such a great place like this. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Goa.

Not much to see, really, but good to drink, eat and relax with short walks in the old district
Honestly I expected more. I stayed for three days and it was too long. There's not much to see in Panjim. Old Goa is nice and interesting trip but 2-3 hours is enough including bus rides. The streets of old district are interesting but again you need two half an hour max one hour walks to see them. Old fort on the other side of the river is quite a trip and is barely ok. Just a fort. Bright side of Panjim are restaurants. Good choice among them.

The Panaji is a capital city of Goa.
The Panaji is a capital city of Goa. It used to be a portugal hub and this fact is still noticable in the architecture, names and culture - I mean food, family names, the religion and many other things you might see there. The city is not huge, actually it's rather small if you'd compare it to any indian destination. The airport is located to the south of the city and you can get a pre-paid taxi there - we paid 900 to get to Dona Paula - a couple with 2 backpacks, one way. The bast way to see the city as itself is to walk on foot - it's small enough. The best way to travel around the Goa is to rent a motorbike or hire a scooter - for one day you should pay around 400 INR + 300 INR for fuel + 1000 INR as a deposit and after that you can start enjoying Goa, I mean - see some really nice beaches - the best are south - Agonda, Palolem and so on, bathing in the sea, visit spice farms, see elephants and monkeys, get to some old portugal forts on south, eat goa's food - it's slighty different than india, drink bear - it's half the mumbai's beer price - 50 INR. If you don't like to travel o your own, you may use some travel agencies service - they'll help you to organise some trips. The Wifi is not a problem, people are freindly, hotels provide wide standard. You should be ready to see some dirt and muck on beaches - cows, dogs and what is worse people - I really want you to watch out when you're on the sand - I saw some syringes in the sand - just once but really.. take care. As almost anywhere in India, you should be ready to avoid cheating. Some people will tell you that the cash desk is closed, they'll show you the way to a fake tourist office and so on - India as itself. Anyway - Goa, and Panaji is a nice place - you can rest there from the 'India country' - to be honest Goa is not like India..it's different but worth to see. Enjoy! And stay open minded.

Nice place to stay, especially near the main road to the beach. Nice localization (same distance to North and South Goa), nice people and beautiful clean beaches.

Commitment from staff. Managers tend to bask in the glory of the working staff. I must acknowledge the" service with a smile" from working staff whom we take for granted. Support this establishment and ensure that the working staff get just rewards for their labour. I'm so proud being Indian.

I am a solo traveller and booked the sea facing suite as a birthday treat. If you book this hotel, definitely book the sea facing suite as it is one of the best designed suites I have seen at a hotel. You get a beautiful tub with rose petals, welcome wine, two smart TVs and a beautiful deck. The DJ played amazing music and the ambience because of the music was really upbeat. The location is right on a private part of the beach and if you like peace and quiet, this is great! The staff was courteous. Sneha from the reception found out it’s my birthday and arranged a lovely cake surprise for me in the morning with a beautiful three layer vegetarian cake. Sneha was polite and courteous during the whole time. A special thanks to Sneha for arranging birthday cake. Other than the sea facing room, another awesome part of the stay was the tasty breakfast. There was so much variety from home made healthy spreads, to “make your own Bhel Puri” to fresh parathas and dosa. As a vegetarian there were plenty of tasty options for me. Having the meals while looking at the ocean waves was another awesome experience. I have posted a video of my lovely experience on my IG under sassykeets. Overall, the stay was incredibly special and memorable. I would recommend this boutique hotel and their sea facing room for a lovely Goa stay.

Liked dinners at Barbeque and Azul very much. Breakfast at Laranja was sumptuous with wide choices. Our room was right at the beach, and the beach was ideally situated within a stone's throw. Great secluded and uncrowded, uncluttered very clean beach. Loved live music by Ashley, friendly and courteous service by Sanjeev, Ashish, Avdhesh and Zeenal. Mr Carmin Pinto and Mr Nitin were very helpful and attentive. Ms Priyanki and Ms Fiona were very helpful and efficient at the reception desk. Mr. Dattaram at the concierge desk was very informative and assisted in resolving many queries I posted to him. Great staff.

One of the best property I have ever stayed in Goa. Worth the money and experience. I went with my husband and my mother. We took 2 delux rooms. The room is very spacious and big ans comfortabel for 2-3 person stay. On our request an extra bed was provided. The pool water quality is checked. Always cleaned. Service is on time. Resort food is so tasty and I always had my dinner at the beach from the resort. Enjoyed the peaceful and lovely evenings. The staffs are very helpful and arrange everything if needed. Like I celebrated my husband birthday. The decors was well arranged. They are pet and dog friendly. I simply loved this part. Loving pace for dogs cats. I will always chose this property for my next visit to Goa.

Perfect laid back beach getaway. Rooms have A/C and fans. Very nice to have a porch with chairs or a hammock for siesta too. The restaurant was great too for all meals (and drinks :-) at a table under the deck or on the sand.
