We recommend visiting Duomo di Milano and the Navigli at sunset. These were the best places we visited, even though the staff at the Duomo can be quite chaotic. Try Italian cuisine - pasta, pizza, gelato... When I travel to Italy, I usually use the Mooney Go app to buy city transport tickets, it is very user-friendly (also Moovit for navigation).Guest review byEliška BálintováCzech Republic - 8.0
Great place to visit with great views.
Great place to visit with great views. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. A small bathing area by a park. Ride the funicular to enjoy great views although the walk up to the lighthouse is not for the fainthearted as steep and hot in summer but worth the walk. A shuttle bus to the top is also available. Not as busy as Lake Garda and better in my opinion.Guest review bysimonUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Bergamo is a nice city but some areas don't really look safe even though they're pretty close to the city center. The fortress or the high city (cita alta) is nice to explore but I chose to stay in Bergamo due to its proximity to Milan and lake Como rather than just Bergamo itselfGuest review byPaulGhiranRomania - 10.0

Absolutely stunning town centre with the beautiful castle and quaint buildings sprawling with bougainvillea....lots of restaurants and gelato places to choose from. That being said, there doesn't seem to be much else there and once you've looked around the castle and had something to eat/drink and had a wander, it's enough. We spent 2 days there and that was more than plenty. If you combine it with Lake Garda and do a day trip there (or maybe overnight), it would be enough and plenty of people were doing just that and catching the ferry over for the day. Definitely worth a visit.Guest review bykevinUnited Kingdom - 10.0
It is a pleasant town.
It is a pleasant town. The historic center is small and the walk takes only a few minutes. The town itself is quite large. The waterfront is very pleasant and there are many restaurants, bars, hotels, cafes, souvenir and clothing shops. If you want to spend a lot of time by the water, it is advisable to find accommodation close by, because towards the interior the town is built uphill so walking can be difficult. A few days are enough to get to know the destination, but the town is excellent as a starting point for further trips by car/boat/scooter/bike. On the waterfront, guides offer various trips. We recommend a trip to the nearby town of Sirmione. In case of any trips, we recommend doing them in the morning hours because around lunchtime the attractions are already crowded. As for restaurants, the prices of meals are on average 20-30€. There are several supermarkets and small shops in the town.Guest review byMichaelaSlovakia - 10.0

Having spent 311 nights in Limone you must understand that we like it and the surrounding north Lake Garda area. Last year it was selected as the most superb flower decorated town in Italy and at the international competition won the top five 'petals' in it's category of small resorts. The winter population is 1200 people but usually busy with visitors from the end of April till mid October. The only criticism this year is that I detected a cigarette end on some steps! Standards are slipping but the Mayor, Il Sindaco, was quite distressed. If in doubt just go and you will not be disappointed.Guest review byDuncanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

A must visit city, far better experience than over touristy Verona, for example. Many museums and sites of interest, laid back vibe at night , lots of restaurants with great variety of cuisines, mainly "locals" from suburbs or the old town, chilling in a very pleasant atmosphere, amazing historical buildings and Italian charm. Has all the architecture of "typical" Italy, but without the crowds.Guest review byMichaelUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Hotel easy to find although there was some confusion at the airport as to where the free airport shuttle bus left from but perhaps the driver was just having an off day. The room was well equipped and spacious but we had no hot water in the morning. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Staff were very helpful and friendlyGuest review byMargaretUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Bellagio is a beautiful place, though it can be quite busy and crowded. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by an unpleasant encounter with a policewoman who was not friendly at all. We had just arrived and accidentally parked in a residential parking area. Despite our attempt to explain the mistake and our immediate departure, she issued us a ticket. On top of our already tight schedule, we then had to spend time figuring out how and where to pay the fine.Guest review byR YRCanada - 10.0

Beautiful countryside and perfect for walking or cycling in the hillsides around the village, plus some really nice restaurants open late into the evening filled with people who all appeared to be having a good time. Also great to be able to do some duty free shopping.Guest review byBruceUnited Kingdom
