In the hills above Sundvollen sits Kleivstua Hotel near Krokskogen, a collection of traditional buildings carefully restored to offer modern accommodations overlooking Steinsfjord. Everything was just perfect. From the staff to accommodation and location. The breakfast was splendid, the view from the terrace was just breathtaking. We got a whole cottage for ourselves - and we even had private sauna! It felt so good after a short hike in a chilly Norwegian Summer. Highly recommend!

Quality Hotel River Station is set in Drammen, right by Drammenselva, with the train station as its nearest neighbor. Drammen city center is just across the river. I was actually quite surprised by the hotel, because I only book places with a grade above 9, but in Norway it would cost a fortune to do so. The place was very clean, the bed was very confortable, and more important, although the thermostat was set to 17 degrees, we had a really pleasant sleep, because the room insulation was good and we had a thick duvet. Also, our room had a nice view to the mountains and we enjoyed a good breakfast. We really appreciated the staff suggestions for parking and places to eat.

Found next to Hardangervidda mountain plateau and only 1.2 mi from Geilo Train Station, this ski-in ski-out hotel offers lodge-style guest rooms, free Wi-Fi and comprehensive spa and fitness... Everything. The location, perfect for skiing (right across the slopes and the equipment rentals), the pool with the slide and the hot tub and the fitness center. Dinner at the restaurant was also great with the waiters being super nice as was the personnel at the front desk . The Breakfast buffet was varied, fresh and well organized.
