The staff were extremely friendly and gave us personal recommendations on how best to visit the Volcano National Park. They also gave us extra time to check out. They also have daily activities like live music, yoga, and lei making, all provided free of charge. There was also a nice view at the lobby of a koi fish pond with hammocks by the side with a nice, regular, breeze.

Located in Hilo, within 700 metres of Onekahakaha Beach and 1.2 km of Kealoha Beach Park, Aaron’s cottage provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free... The room had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and we liked the screen door at the back with the deck. If we come back to the island we would love to stay here again.

A Hilo Reeds Bay Hotel nyilvános helyiségeiben ingyenes wifivel várja vendégeit. A helyszínen díjmentes a privát parkolás. The facility was the best ‘value for money’ in the area. The free local buses meant we could go anywhere. No restaurant in this hotel but that was okay as we went elsewhere, no problem. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone else travelling on a budget.

We were late checking in and the front desk person waited for us to check in. Quaint, sleepy and quiet area near the hustle and bustle was fine for us- we slept well.

Kilauea House is set in Volcano, 18 km from Kilauea, 45 km from Pana'ewa Rainforest Zoo, as well as 49 km from University of Hawaii, Hilo. We felt very comfortable right from the start and found it totally adorable that you greeted us personally despite our late arrival. We were delighted with the choice of food. Everything here shows attention to detail. And we have rarely experienced such a comfortable and high quality bed on our many trips (we're on a 3 month sabbatical🙃). We would have liked to stay longer and will recommend the apartment.

Lovely peaceful location near the coast, super quiet. Great amenities, the laundry room of stuff to borrow was great - the cool box was really useful on day trips! Andy was super friendly and provided us tips on local spots to visit and gave us detailed directions and checking in instructions

Boasting a balcony with sea views, a private beach area and water sports facilities, Ma'ukele Lodge can be found in Pahoa, close to Kaimu Beach and 21 km from Lava Tree State Monument. The hosts were absolutely wonderful. The room is rustic, but a great way to experience Island life. This was an unexpectedly wonderful jewel. Breakfasts were fabulous.
