After a bit of a muddy trip on the lodge road, from where we turned off on the road from Hopetown, we arrived at Gkhui Gkhui, the most beautiful lodge on the banks of the Orange river. Everything was perfect and our host, Heidi went out of her way to make our stay memorable. The rooms are stunning, with a fabulous outdoor double shower. The deck at the lodge had a magnificent vista while there was a lovely welcoming fire inside. Our meals, both dinner and breakfast, were delicious. We really wished we could have stayed longer. You will not be sorry if you decide to stay here.

It was our second stay at Witfontein Game Lodge and once again a special experience to be so close to nature! The room was tastefully decorated and had good quality linen. The bathroom was spacious and clean. We chose the self catering option and prepared our meals in the Lodge kitchen. Witfontein is a lovely place for friends and family to spend quality time together! We had an absolutely lovely stay!

The excellent service… from arrival to departure… cleanliness of the room and quality of all the linen and towels. The breakfasts as well as the dinners was well prepared and tasty.
