Spice Village Thekkady - CGH Earth, resort sa Thekkady

Resembling a traditional tribal village, Spice Village offers thatched-roof cottages with a minibar. The property houses an outdoor pool, tennis court and skilled Ayurvedic doctors.

Both houses were great, with a lot of space. The whole concept is based on green & organic living. That starts with the offered cosmetic products, and ends in their own solar & gas production, own water treatment station as well as own organic garden & compost. It's very quiet, the frogs & the birds are the natural orchestra 😍. Temperature is great, no AC needed. Food options are also very good. I can recommend also their Ayurveda massage offers.

What a magical place! We spotted mongoose on the boat ride there, 6 elefants in the evening just on the opposite side of the lake and lots of monkeys in the morning. Great food as well!

The property itself is beautiful and so quiet. The staff did a great job to make our stay as comfortable as enjoyable. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, clean and thoroughly decorated. Icing on the cake we had a private swimming pool!
