The staff was amazing and really made sure, that we have everything that we need. Since the hotel on the pictures is currently under renovation, we got a room in the Canary Nungwi Hotel with a free room upgrade and free 60 minutes massage for each one of us. It would be better to place some information in the Booking.com description, that the hotel is a different one, but they really cared well for us at the other hotel, it was a great stay and they definitely made it up for that small confusion. They also let us stay a bit longer on our last day and gave us a different room, such that we could shower once more before heading to the airport in the late afternoon.

It is a peaceful and relaxing place aside from the hustle and bustle. Located at the first line, it also has a beautiful garden, a swimming pool, restaurant and a beach front bar. We loved our spacious veranda and the stunning ocean views from it, as well as the relaxing atmosphere of the property. The staff is friendly and helpful. The owner personally accomodated us, as we arrived late at night. For us this was the perfect place for our stay.

Tanzanite Beach Resort is paradise on earth! The staff is amazing and from the moment you walk in you feel like part of their big happy family. The rooms are delicate, spacious and clean. We also had a big balcony with great garden and sea view. The beach is fantastic! Yes, there are some rocks and low tide but most of the day you can swim and walk along the beach without problems. Unlike Nungwi this beach is quiet and feels like a private spot, and Nungwi is anyway only a short and exciting walk away. (Good idea to bring a torch if you plan to walk after sunset.) The garden is beautiful and so well kept, and the pool is fresh and of good size. The food is excellent, didn’t get bored of their buffets even after 12 days. The chefs and waiters are the sweetest! We can’t wait to go back to Tanzanite Beach Resort. The perfect place to spend a relaxed and quiet family holiday!
