Very dated resort. Probably was great in the 90’s.

We had dinner on Friday night. The menu didn’t have a lot of food selection. I’ve had better food at other resorts for the price.

We loved the view from our lake view balcony room on the top floor and playing in the pools. The kid's pool did not feel heated and the slides were not turned on since we were there on a weekday (Monday). The pool bar closed early but the drink we got was good and priced as expected for a resort pool bar.

Beautiful location, deer and a peacock ran freely around the resort and that was pretty cool. Not too far from Austin, about 40-55 min depending on traffic.

The location was absolutely breathtaking! I had a room overlooking the lake and it was so serene! The entire resort was clean and it smelled clean as soon as I opened the door to my room. My room was in tip-top condition.I’m extremely particular and nit-picky and I had not one complaint.

The hotel pool was very crowded although the weather was horrible- you probably won't find a chair in decent weather. it is about a 30 min drive to most sites in Austin, so if you don't want to stay at the pool, it isn't a great location. The restaurant on site was nearly empty with very mediocre food and service. Not sure why they charge a resort fee since it is really just a hotel.
