This is the best vacation my parents and I among the several we took in the last 5 years. The resort has a rustic charm to it, the grounds and room are well maintained. You get to see deers, wild boars and langur monkeys within the property. Tracy and Gibran helped us with all our trip planning and any special requests we had for our elderly parents during our stay. All the support staff were amazing and helpful in every way. Thank you Jungle Hut for the wonderful memories, will definitely visit again.

Este hotel ecológico goza de una ubicación pintoresca entre los ríos Veera Chozha y Cauverey, en el distrito Tanjore del sur de la India. Beautiful and serene property designed in the traditional style of Tamil architecture. The gardens are amazing and the peacocks add a colorful but noisy additional touch! The staff are very warm and friendly and quick to respond to requests. The food is also quite delicious - fresh organic fruit and veggies. They make the food only after you order so it takes a while but is worth the wait. We couldn’t try the Ayurvedic treatments as our schedule was very tight but as we plan to come back that’s ok. The quaint tea kadai was a lovely experience . We’d say this is a must stay place if you come to Kumbakonam!

The Indian food prepared by the chef was delicious.

I stayed here for a day trip with no exceptions but than realized I could have booked for few more days. This house is completely amazing and chill. My girl friend really love this place. Mud blocks, natural finishing walls, nice pool, wonderful home made food. C19 safety measures followed... Well maintained property and its new and all at reasonable price. We would love to come back later nov. Pre-booked already :) for a week stay. The owner of the property is an passionate person.
