Terrabona is an hidden gem located on the north coast, which in our opinion is the most beautiful and still unspoiled part of the island. The property stands in a vineyard that gives birth to a variety of wines with an extraordinary and unique flavor. Every detail is taken care of by the staff and in particular by the owners Marco and Maria, two of the most lovely people we have ever met on our vacations. From the very beginning of our stay, they welcomed us as if we were old friends, helping us to get to know them and Terrabona better. The Villas are simply stunning, perfectly integrated into the landscape, managing to combine beauty and functionality, with all the conveniences one might expect: we particularly appreciated the very high quality appliances that came in handy in the preparation of our breakfast, which was varied, plentiful and contained different organic seasonal fruits every day. The bed was very comfortable, as were the "special" pillows made of peas and chickpeas. Moreover, the natural ventilation of the Villa was conducive to our relaxation as was the double "rain" shower. Speaking of water, a special mention goes to the splendid infinity pool and sauna. We also had the opportunity to socialize with other guests during a wonderful dinner with a private chef who amazed us with his fine dishes from the culinary traditions of the island and Portugal. Last but not least, we think we were extremely lucky to witness the grape harvest, a unique moment that we shared with everyone who worked there. Luxury villa with private heated pool, garden and views of the sea and mountains. Lovely villa with nice pool. We stayed 3 generations grandparents i master suite. + 2 families divided between other rooms (11 persons total). The house was perfect for this!

Apartment W Stunning View - MARINA - Free Parking & AC se může pochlubit výhledem na moře a poskytuje ubytování s balkonem a kávovarem. Very central, close to the waterfront and the city of Funchal! Well equipped and very comfortable! Beautifully furnished and the view is really great.

Savoy Calheta Beach se nachází v Calhetě na pláži u Atlantického oceánu. Uzasna poloha, pratelsky perzonal a vynikajici kuchyne. Obedy jsme kvuli vyletum nestihali, ale snidane a vecere opravdu famozni.

Pětihvězdičkový Pestana Carlton Madeira Ocean Resort Hotel se nachází na vrcholu útesu na ostrově Madeira a může se pochlubit 4 restauracemi, 2 bary a výhledem na Atlantický oceán, Do centra města... My wife and I absolutely LOVED this place. Very clean, well organized, super breakfast (my wife felt there should have been more vegetable options, though). The staff was very nice and helpful. We had a very nice woman at the hotel set up for us a very nice excursion on the western side of the island. The pools here are great, they have a sauna, jacuzzi and massage options on site. A hair salon is also on site. The hotel arranged a nice taxi to the airport after our stay. Our room was good-sized, GREAT view of the sea. Comfy beds. Maid service every day with clean sheets and plenty of towels. The bathroom was superb with lots of counter space. The WiFi worked well. Elevators were quick. We feel we should have stayed longer!!! The location of this hotel is awesome. It's a block away from the main street that leads right into all the shopping and restaurants, cafes, etc. in the center of the city. It's also an easy walk to the port and the old city. It is very close to the ferry to Porto Sancho. The hotel is in a nice, quiet spot up on a hill with several restaurants that are steps away (they range from an Irish pub to fine dining). We are DEFINITELY returning and we will stay here for sure. The city of Funchal... and the entire island of Madeira... are absolutely AWESOME!
