Nothing in particular.

Paying £40 per night over normal rate of £155 (because of British Grand Prix 20 miles away) and having no dining or bar facilities one night because of a wedding - plus disco thumping until midnight. Next night waited 45 mins for dinner main course because an oven had broken - and the restaurant was not busy. No surprise. Totally sub-standard. Complete rip off.

Quite convenient for Silverstone. Room well serviced eah day.

Entirely non-smoking. Be very careful to check they don't have a wedding party booked during your stay - the loud music will drive you nuts. Rates for British Grand Prix weekend very high - no Holiday Inn is worth £210 a night...

Room was lovely! Location easy to reach. Breakfast was hot & plentiful. You get loyalty points.

Bar meal in the evening was distinctly average (Fish & Chips). I had to argue against the unexplained increase in room rates (yes, they refunded). Crazy £50 cancellation fee if you check out early - despite me giving 36 hours notice of early checkout. The excuse offered was that "we have to get the room cleaned.." Does that mean it wouldn't have been cleaned if I'd stayed? Or that the poor soul following me into the room afterwards would have found it not cleaned? And yes, they refunded that too..

There for my sisters wedding all the staff from serving breakfast to working the bar at night were fantastic.

Friendly staff. Very convenient location close to M1. Breakfast was good. Parking felt secure. There was a wedding during my stay but I was given a quiet room so I would not be affected by it (room 20) and it was great - nice and quiet and looking out on open fields. I would stay here again.

Room service meal was poor: the new potatoes were not freshly cooked - they had been microwaved too much and had mostly gone like rubber, and the steak was a little tough and sinewy - however I was offered a £5 discount because of that, which was appreciated. Room had a slightly odd smell about it. Room was too cold as heating not switched on. Pillows were too hard.

The dining room staff were most helpful and courteous.

The bathroom looks a little careworn.

A friendly greeting when we arrived at the reception desk. The checking in process was speedy and easy. Our room was really nice, and we had a great view of the countryside from our window. The breakfast was fantastic, really nice and plentiful! Checking out, no problems, everything was hassle free!

There were a couple of weddings on, which meant that there were not always staff at the main hotel bar, and I had to wait a good 15 mins before some came to man the bar, by which time a queue had built up!
