Great hotel. I enjoyed my staying very much. got a corner room at he 23rd floor. great view, big room, clean, comfortable bed. breakfast was great, front desk was always very helpful. Summary: had great experience with this hotel. very recommended. the sealing in the bathroom peeled off - not acceptable in Hilton hotels. |

The guy who checked us in (I think his name was Louis), was AWESOME. He upgraded us without even asking to VIP status so we were able to get into the executive lounge anytime we wanted. The front desk clerk the next day gave us free wifi for all of our devices, which was amazing! A friend of mine drove up from DC on Saturday around 5:30pm. He parked his car in the garage. We took the parking ticket to the front desk and told them it was for room 1603. My friend left later that night around 8:30pm. He paid for a full day of parking ($25) on his own since he left the parking pass in the room. When I checked out I tried to explain this to the front desk clerk, but she was so rude. She not only charged me the $25, even though my friend already paid for it on his own, she didn't even want to listen to what I had to say. So, basically between my friend who drove up from DC and myself we paid $50 for 2 hours of parking in that garage. It's really unfortunate. I would stay here again, but I would never suggest anyone park in that garage. |

Hotel is very conveniently located in downtown Philly. There is parking on site (for a fee). You can leave the car in the garage until midnight on the day you check out. Breakfast restaurant staff (on mezzanine level) were extremely pleasant. Engineering staff that fixed heat was extremely helpful. Love the warm cookies upon check in. The reservation was incorrect as a result of booking through booking.com. I had booked two rooms, and there were 8 versions of cancellations to one of the rooms. Luckily there were enough rooms available on the evening we arrived. Also - I was originally told I could not use my Hilton Honors number because it was booked through a third party. However, the desk staff did manage to get my number added to the rooms. Some of the front desk staff was marginally helpful. Kept referring me to the concierge for questions, but the concierge was also the doorman or bellman, so resulted in waiting. Heat in room did not work properly, but engineering responded almost immediately and fixed the issue. Several errors in our dinner order in the restaurant on the mezzanine level. Restaurant staff however was very pleasant. |

The first cleaner did an excellent job. We like the welcome cookie- especially after such a long trip from overseas the girls enjoyed that. Pool was warm. Staff responsive to needs. When front desk asked questions, sometimes a little too curt/gruff. There are no mirrors in halls, elevators, or lobby- makes a difference when you are ready for business meeting.. |
