Food was good staff very good location ok
Basics good! need a bit of tweaking here and there
nearly died in the heat with the rads off!! could not open window? toiletries poor in bathroom
The three staff on duty the afternoon and evening of Friday 19th. Dec.2014
worked very hard ,efficiently and cheerfully in the face of a double function involving more people than they should be expected to cope with.
One young lady Alison I think deserves special mention and the man and Swedish receptionist both
Too few staff overworked.
The breakfast was good and pool and sauna would go again in the spring ,
The staff are very pleasant and very helpful
Staff were friendly and helpful in the hotel and spa.Good Spa.Food excellent.Good Value for money.Room small but comfortable.Would come back hopefully soon.Loved our weekend at the Dower house
Shower in the room had very poor water flow.Tried to shower but gave up and went down to the spa changing rooms instead.Really need to sort that out.But did not take away from nice relaxing break
The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. The Gym and Spa were good, the rest of the hotel had cosy rooms and the general ambience was restful and pleasing. The Hotel is nicely situated near pleasant river walk and interesting shops. This was our second visit and I would go there again.
Food ok but expensive for what it was; vegetables with meal nearly non-existent, room towels a bit rough (spa towels however white, fluffy and soft!)
The bar and dining area
The bathroom with toiletries
The early check in
Not having everything on the menu - they'd ran out of chips and sausages
Twin room no. 9 a bit too small for 2 people
I've stopped here before and would use it again for an over night stop
Food expensive and little choice . Shower had massive leak and no shower gels/ shampoos provided
The room they were given was over the spa area and the drone of the jacuzzi kept them awake all night.
They're 70....why did you do this.
