We was made to feel very welcome and they couldn't do enough for us! I will definitely be staying here on every visit to Oxford and everything is on your doorstep

Esp staff and people were so warm as well.. :)

My comfort expectencies are a little bit higher but it really worths every penny of that when compared with equivalents..

Located so convinient! For walks in City Center and getting on the bus.

The crowds cheering at the sportsbar downstairs - check if som major sporting event is taking place, 'cause you will hear it... The facilities were very modest with the shared bathroom - could be better at a friends house, so don't go for the luxury - but for at central place to stay. No fridge, no aircon!!!!

Very pleasant friendly Very pleasant and friendly young staff and the fact we were able to leave our bags after checking out. The location was perfect. Bedroom good size, clean linen and comfortable beds. It had everything we needed such as sink, kettle with drink making items, TV and heaters if we needed them. I would definitely stay there again.

The dreadful smell up the stairs (like pig slurry). The rather run down shower facilities with cracked lino etc which reminded me of bedsits many years ago. It was a bit noisy at night from people out on the town but for the location understandable. It isn't for those wanting luxury but ideal for a perfectly located stopover.

Initially we thought the location was good, although it didn't quite match the website description as it actually was almost part of the coach station!

Our room was immediately over the bar. At 10:00 pm on Saturday night the music started, and was so loud we couldn't even have a conversation, let alone watch the tv or sleep! By 11:30 we'd had enough and checked out, as it was clear it was going on for a while with the football match and late night licence. The room was shabby and generally grubby looking - great for a student, but not really what we wanted. We felt that the description and photo were deceptive with the reality of the fact that it was a pub with a few rooms.

An ideal location, easy walking from station and to city centre. Incredibly low price @ £33.75 per person per night including an excellent full English breakfast. A spacious bedroom with double and single beds. Friendly reception staff.

A cramped, poorly maintained shower room shared by three bedrooms. The toilet brush collapsed into three parts and had to be fished out of the water.Shaver light in bedroom not working. No lift, so had to climb 62 steps to bedroom.
