Booking.com failed to secure my reservation. I was 1st told they had no reservation in my name & then that there was no vacancy. As I turned to leave they suddenly coughed up a room. I spent 15 mins. On the phone with Booking.com agent who insisted Hampton Inn had my reservation. He even set the phone down & called the front desk, which I had just left not 5 mins. Prior: the Hampton clerk told them they had it!!! Whatever. I just wanted to make sure I didn't get charged twice which Giovanni at the desk told me I probably would... The shower curtain stunk like mold!! For $145/night I expect way more than that. Breakfast not the best I've had at Hampton. Will not go back.
