The breakfast was very nice!

The hotel was very noisy. We could hear people in the halls and in the surrounding rooms. We had difficulty finding the hotel entrance at the bar of the restaurant.

We took advantage of a special rate and thought that for the price we received very good quality. We liked the attempt at "green", the cardboard hangers brought a smile but maybe over the top a bit. The bathroom is beautiful, the towels and robe especially were very very nice. It took a while to figure out where to put things at the sink being the shelf and drawer space were a bit tight. The soaps and lotions were wonderful, the shower wonderful, the choice in flush options thoughtful. The lighting was fun and well done also.The bed was grand a little difficult to negotiate the split comforter but we got the hang of it.The bed is definitely a dream as someone else mentioned. We had a room that overlooked the center of the hotel so that was a real plus for us at Hotel Healdsburg we are usually overlooking the street....We liked the clean and sparse (but not really sparse) look and feel.The complimentary breakfast was very nice.The fellow doing the valet parking was very nice and told us to take advangage of the free paring across the street. Given that we had arrived at 4 and would be leaving at Noon the next day, thank you, very nice.

We were there overnight only so this was not a big problem but a longer stay may have caused a turf war! A little difficult to negotiate the split comforter but we got the hang of it. We really would have liked a coffee pot and coffee in the room or a bowl of fruit as an added touch, there's nothing like a cup of coffee while still under the covers. The tv was a bit difficult to figure out going from our own dvd to tv, but we figured it out. There was little service at breakfast, we had to negotiate our way around wondering how to get toast, etc. a greeter would have been nice as a way of showing newbies around. Parking - it would be nice not to charge for parking. The fellow doing the valet parking was very nice and told us to take advangage of the free paring across the street. Given that we had arrived at 4 and would be leaving at Noon the next day, thank you, very nice. None of the above would cause us to not recommend the hotel - the attempt is admirable - keep up the good work!

the most comfortable bed ever!

The shower is part of the bathroom so if one of you is showering the other has a hard time getting ready without being splashed. But overall the bathroom was very large and nice

The decor

Alot of street noise at night.

The design (both structural and decorative) of the building itself is sensational. While it is easy to see that the hotel is 'green,' the green touches aren't pretentious... They are stylish. Great bar / lobby / restaurant / lounge open plan on the ground floor, and uber-comfy suites. Would recommend to any and all.

It's a shame that the hotel comes with such a hefty price tag - otherwise, I'd be tempted to frequent it more often. Other than that...no complaints
