The staff were helpful and the communal kitchen was well-equipped. Otherwise, very disappointing for £65.
Very small bedroom. Shared bathroom with only a shower. Accommodation very run down; the complementary sweets and attempt to jazz up the decor with bed cushions and a glittery lamp didn't make up for the tired old sink and lack of bedside tables/lamps (there was no room for these). The appliances ran off a single multi-point extension. We denied the offer of buying a continental breakfast - a good decision as the coffee was instant and the bread nasty sliced. All in all very poor value for money; the owners are obviously 'sweating their assets'!
Exactly what I wanted, no frills accommodation. Only wanted to sleep there and I did so in comfort.
Disturbing the guests while sleeping and fixing the door at 10 in the morning while guests are still occupying the room.
Warm, friendly welcome. Description matches reality. Inexpensive alternative to hotels
A fantastic hostel! One of the best and extremely friendly!
The house is nice and comfortable ,garden is beautiful and the staff was very nice
In the room need some hogh dusting ,the drowers was broken.there was noise when someone opened the water in other room.also the floor in the corridor make sound.and in the bed was lot of hair. The walls is very thin we could heard everything what happen in room before us .
Everything is good!
Great helpful staff, nice communal areas and activities every night
The evening events are a lot of fun. Love it!
The atmosphere was very friendly, the room was comfortable. The staff were amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone. Very safe environment. Only a short walk to town. There were children staying while I was there so very family orientated. I wouldn't recommend for party animals. I will definitely visit this hostel again, the best I've stayed in.
