York centre was a £5 taxi away (infirm mother) Flooring in the bathroom and paper bath mat are not great. small problem with breakfast arrangements while staff chatted loudly in kitchen.	9.6

Susan Mature couple Crewe, United Kingdom May 7, 2013	The bed was very comfortable, the coffee machine perfect and the mini bar a fabulous touch. The free parking also helped keep our overall costs down. I kept getting lost trying to find my room (but this also adds character to the place). The bed was a standard double but was a little on the short side for my 6ft 2in man. The room could easily take a king size bed. Parking at the hotel could be a squeeze but if you know you aren't going to use the car you can park it out of the way. The staff were really helpful with all car park issues.	9.2
