The breakfast was excellent and the food was also although a limited choice available from the bar/lounge. the reception and bar area are in dire need of a makeover and give the hotel a dour and shabby appearance when you arrive. Staff unfriendly and not helpful. Gardens not maintained / maximised. Price for wifi. Prices on food and drink. Dampness on walls in a Executive room. Lack of signage to spa meant having to back track to find the way there. Having to use towels from your room at week ends in the spa. Leaving no dry towels for your room to use.	4.6

The rooms were lovely and the staff are very friendly. It's not very well signposted from the main road and we drove past it a couple of times before we found it.	7.5

Although as it is used by the general public as a health centre being a family with children who wanted to splash we were made to feel uncomfortable. As though we were doing something unreasonable by using the pool as guests of the hotel. The staff at reception were not at all friendly, very brusque. The young lady working in the bar and restaurant was friendly and professional. The food in the restaurant was superb for both dinner and breakfast, and the spa facilities were excellent.	10
