The rooms were clean and comfortable

The reception desk didn't seem to know what they were doing and the checkin process became very tedious and then after booking breakfast at midnight found out that this hadn't been done so frustrating

We liked the location bus stop to edinburgh city 2 mins away

Room was extremely hot and stuffy as window had restricted opening so unable to sleep and main concern was bath extremely slippery I slipped and have a 10 inch bruise when I mentioned this at reception they casual said oh would you like a bath mat we know people slip in them .Why was the mat not in as standard ? If I have been older I could have seriously injured myself was very displeased

On arrival staff very helpful however the male staff member (older man) at night was extremely rude when we buzzed for door to be opened! It was only 12.50 so not overly late!
