close to the falls, cheap
tatty exterior, no staff on site, towels too small, needs a makeover
We wo/nt stay long but but if short hours was good enought to get relax. Comfortable.
Didn't like put more elegant stuff to make your guest more attractive No hazzle for booking good custumers sevice. But will coming back..
I liked the fact that it was private
There was stains on the wall, one of our rooms had a shower that didn't work and smelled of vomit. Neither of the rooms were cleaned in the washrooms and there was mold growing on the ceilings. When I say the wash rooms were not cleaned, I mean you had to clean the obvious piss from the toilet and around the base. You had to rinse the hair from the shower/ tub area before use and sanitize it. There was no staff to be seen and the driveway looked and felt horrendous.
The location was fine.
Just absolutely horrible! We paid $98.00 each plus tax and parking for 2 rooms, regardless of the price, there are still and should have standards, this place had NO standards what so ever. The office was closed and a sign directed us to the Days Inn next door where the girl @ the desk was extremely rude. The rooms were that of filth and despair, had to have one room changed as the bathroom had rust and patchwork on the tub and had NOT been cleaned...the comforter on the bed was stained as were the towels. The pictures on-line are totally misleading.
I like how close it is to the falls and attractions. The room is not 5 star but was a decent place to just sleep at night. If you are looking for just a cheap place to stay while your enjoying the falls this is a good place and a block away from Tim Horton's.
The room had a musty smell and the beds were as hard as a rock.
just a place to rest good location
no fridge in the room you need to bring ice or your own cooler/fridge
The only good thing was the location...We could walk to the falls, it was a little jaunt but able to be done
the room was horrible, the beds we hard and cheap, the price once we got there was different and over $100 a night. There was no on sight pool, you had to walk to the Days Inn or to the inside pool at another hotel which we drove to, there was no cable, no ice machine that worked, an old box tv without a remote, everything was from the 1960's, and they wanted a $100 a room deposit. I could have stolen everything in the room and I would have gotten $75 back...that's what it was worth....awful awful awful....will stay in a hotel on the falls at least if I am getting killed with the price the view will be worth it..
When driving up you may think the place is
A. abandoned, internet scam
B. Zombie made human trap
C. Canada's practical joke on Americans.
But it's none of the above. Best price in the area if you understand you are getting a bed in a box... With a bathroom. Worked great for us because we were in the room for the three S's only. It was clean, just old. Staff friendly, helpful. Very private, we saw two other groups the entire time. Dog friendly. 1/4 to 1/3 price of everyone else. Which meant more money to do every other thing we wanted to.
No mini fridge, bring a cooler. Ice machine at days inn, where you check in.
Location is dope.
Scary stuff..bugs, dirty sheets, smelly room, disgusting carpet to name a few. I was embarrassed to bring my wife here. In the end you're better off to just pay the whatever and stay somewhere decent. This was the ultimate 'Dive Motel.'
As much as i travel and stay in hotel motels and holiday inns this is by far the worst place i have ever stayed and i was very dissapointed ....i changed hotels the next day bc i felt uncomfartable having my family stay at such a grundgy place...and the hotel i got was so much better and a heck of alot cheaper.....this place should be a $50 /nigyt price bc its horrible
I didnt like a single thing about the place it was gross
