Room and lovely size bed


Cost of breakfast . No subtitles for the hard of hearing on TV . Corridors where dark and lights were slow to come on

comfortable beds & pillows large spacious room


2 staff at the bar talking to a woman they new. I had to ask if they were serving one replied yes and carried on talking, they need some serious training that is a management fault also I phoned 2 times to ask for help with getting to the hotel as we had problems finding it, I was told he could not help as he was not from wigan I cannot be the only person to have asked this question very poor customer service it is a shame really as the hotel looks very impresive

The staff were very polite and chatty, especially the receptionist. Excellent parking facilities. The beds were very comfy, Nice toiletries in the bathroom. Very good hot and cold buffet breakfast

Room was comfortable and clean and loved being able to order fresh milk in morning in bedroom for early morning tea Staff on reception desk were very helpful and had a polite manner


We paid extra for breakfast. There were not enough staff to cope and so people were waiting for ages to get a table Once having a table, service was very slow - and cooked breakfast items were delivered to the self service hot plate one at a time and took more than 20 mins to arrive We asked if The staff seemed to be struggling due to serious staff shortage and when we went to ask it seems that there was not a manager on duty who could deal with this. Not good enough!
