Excellent bed and very clean. Good bathroom-shower.


The central work station/TV pod was awkwardly angled making the usable space tighter than ideal.

Staff Facilities Food Friendliness


For some baffling reason, our business class room was provided with a quilt which didn't cover the width of the mattress, compromising our first night's sleep. This was corrected the next day, but shouldn't have happened.

Room was not ready when checking in at 15.30 - only disabled room available Lift availability poor. May have had a mechanical issue, in fairness.

Efficient check in. Reasonable size room.


Unimpressive breakfast. Second time I've stayed there and next time will eat breakfast elsewhere. Had to wait for a table. Hot selection was tasteless.

The hotel is situated in central Leeds and is part of the Light complex, where restaurants and parking are all convenient. The staff are friendly and highly efficient.

The location is brilliant. We didnt eat in the restaurant but did have breakfast which was good.


Our bed gave us both backache and the room was more than ready for a refurbishment. We have stayed here on a number of special occasions and have seen the hotel steadily dropping in standards. But a refurb would do the place good.
