A family & friendly run guest house very close to the centre of town (a 5 minute walk). Also, only a 10 min walk from the station and parking facilities on site. Nice breakfast and free wifi.
The door to the en-suite bathroom closed over did not fully shut.
We were greeted with a welcome and enthusiasm.
The stay was pleasant and staff very helpful and friendly. Each morning the quests were introduced to each other and entertained by the owner. Loved it. great value for money. Will go back

We received aovely welcome, plenty of information about things to do around town and a wonderful breakfast. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Our young children were welcomed and their presence was no issue in the accommodation or at breakfast. A lovely place to
The owner was very hospitable and helpful.
The room was smaller than expected. Storage was lacking, only suitable for short stays.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Thankyou
limited parking, 6 cars only
The hotel is really well located- just 5 minutes walk from restaurants, pubs, shops and the train station! It's warm, welcoming and an added bonus is that it has some parking on site! The owners were away when we stayed but Vivienne was an amazing host! She made us feel at home, she was accommodating to requests and generally the bubbliest friendliest lady! If I visit Stratford Upon Avon again I would definately stay at Salamander again!! Oh and the price is really reasonable and includes a lovely cooked breakfast!! :)
We stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit, The location could not be better. All the central attractions are within easy walking distance and the property is just a fews doors down from the pathway to Ann Hathaway's cottage. We came by train and never missed the car once and the station is only five minutes walk away. Host is quite a character and very entertaining. Would certainly recommend.
Some traffic noise from the busy road in front of building. Not a problem if you keep the windows shut but I like the window open at night.
Sorry nothing good to say
We were given an attic room that was to small ,the single beds were as low to the floor as possible, could not swing a cat in the toilet /shower, the shower door would not close fully, there were no handles on the wardrobe and had to open them from the top or bottom ,luckily I was over six foot to reach the top.we were not happy with he room and not offered another room because they were all booked,so stuck in an attic for two nights,so therefore booking . Com could you please advise if I find myself in this position again , what would be my options .
