Friendly chatty staff and nothing was too much trouble for them. Having the freedom to come and go as we pleased. The shower on our landing wasn't very good |

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom and shower room clean. The breakfast was good and I just want to say a big thank-you to Cathy in the kitchen who made me a sausage sandwich, as I only had time for cereal and toast the second day and was in a rush, so didn't have time to stay for full English breakfast. So I took my sandwich with me :-) When I was leaving the manager also stored my luggage securely so I didn't have to drag it around with me for the day, as I wasn't leaving Newcastle till after 7pm. There was a boiler in my toilet which kept going on and off and sometimes woke me up during the night. The lock on the door looks like it needs refitting as loose at the frame. But overall it did feel like a safe place to stay. |

Friendly staff that were happy to ring you a taxi, tell you where to go in the city Good cooked breakfast perfect after a night out! Bathrooms were a little small in en suite but there were good sized shared bathrooms right outside our rooms |

close to city rooms looked dull, some brighter quilts and curtains would make a huge difference |

Friendly welcome from Michael on reception. Great breakfast for the price. Location meant that it was a pleasant walk into the heart of the city. I'll be back. |

clean and friendly feel. You get your own key to the hotel so you can come and go as you please without having to disturb or communicate with the hotel staff, which suited me. The english breakfast made the stay good value for money. the rooms are a bit thrown together and tend to be a little cool but still make good value for money. |

Nice staff, breakfast included, clean, quiet, very close to football ground (about 10-15mins walk). Some rooms were great others not so nice, cooked breakfast was not particularly good but filled a hole. |
