Great location, friendly staff, goodbbreakfast, excellent value for money
One of friends room was a bit small and the radiator was broken.
Nice friendly atmosphere nice location.
Not how it looked on the website.
Room needed a bit of redecorating and freshening up, bathroom had cracked tiles and bath panel had come away from bath. Poor parking facilities.
we booked a winter holiday, end of nov. we wanted to be close to the hub and this was. we were also in time to see the xmas lights come on at Bowness, which is a 40 minute walk from Windermere, where Grey Walls is. grey Walls is establishe and friendly.
It is a lovely large property with grey stone walls and I would love to see it improve its facilities and use all its resources.
Great hospitable staff, Alex was a credit to the hotel and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent position near the centre of town
Cleanliness, friendly staff, comfortable room, good food in bar.
Located within easy access of the town centre, Friendly staff, especially Alex, a very pleasant young man, a credit to Greywalls
The Internet access was only available in the bar, this can be a problem for someone wishing to access prior to the Bar opening, a booster could well be the answer?
Other than than the above I would recommend this establishment.
Kept our backpacks for us while traveling the day of checkout.
Food good in the pub
Great full breakfast too
Hotel very relaxed, very warm, good breakfasts, friendly, helpful Staff. Very good position for visiting other Cumbrian towns. Hotel has had many updates since last time we visited
Great Location, nice food, friendly staff.
I would have liked to have 2 comfy chairs in our room as there was nowhere to sit.
Huge note of our personal thanks to Alex who made our stay at The Grey Walls a really lovely experience. Alex was courteous, extremely
professional and an example
to all within the hospitality
profession. Thank you!
Nothing at all to dislike!
