Staff were friendly, room clean and tidy and food very good value for money. Good friendly atmosphere in pub and locals friendly too. Would definitely stay again if working in the area. Overall good value for money.

What a great place to stay.Great night's sleep, great food ,great breakfast, great staff.Clean and confortable. Dont take any notice of the moaner's reviews. This is not a 4* hotel, its a pub with accommodation at a very competitive price. If you want 4* go stay in one and pay the extra, the choice couldn't be any easier.

A good single room with ensuite and flat screen TV. It was warm and comfortable. A good pint of Adnams, excellent ham, eggs and chips for supper. Friendly helpful staff. Useful location with major road junctions nearby

The location was excellent for our purposes although being on the main road to Gt Yarmouth the road noise was a bit of a disturbance if you wanted to leave the window open. Generally the staff were very friendly as were the locals in the pub each evening we were there.Breakfast was excellent and the evening meal we had on the first night was also very enjoyable. There was plenty of tea and coffee and also plenty of cupboard /drawers if you were stopping longer and had more clothes.

The fact you needed to access the bedrooms by going outside the pub and up metal stairs. No good for someone with bad knees. If it was raining (and it did rain) you needed an umbrella just to get back into the pub for a meal or for your breakfast then back to your bedroom. The bedrooms seem to be divided by just plasterboard, as we could hear all the noise and snoring from the next room. The bed was hard for us. The floorboards creaked a lot and the front door to the corridor from the metal staircase sticks and needs a good pull to close; which makes more noise when guests are going in and out.
