Location, comfort, lovely views. We had been upgraded to water view - beautiful.


Breakfast was appalling. Congealed fried breakfast buffet not at all appealing.

Stayed here several times lovely room (110) balcony very clean and lovely views of the broads, good food although the breakfast is kept under a warming station and eggs kept cooking till hard, toast hard and the bacon very rubbery. Staff very helpful.


Breakfast being kept warm, bar closing at 11pm, not too bad but then kept awake by the very loud music from the party venue on the side of the hotel, thumping of the base etc in the rooms.

We had a deluxe room with a view out over Oulton Broad! Stunning very clean and comfortable. Loved the balcony! Evening carvery was excellent although the poor lad carving was on his own to serve, refill vegtables, help quests and he was very stressed!! Poor chap. We loved our stay our room was excellent.


No surprise flowers! No sugar for tea! Buffet breakfast was poor very overcooked couldn't eat it! The coffee was undrinkable!! The staff seemed distracted and uninterested! It would have been nice to have a smile and friendly banter!

Location,comfort,excellent food,restaurant staff very helpful and efficient,all-round great hotel,nice to be upgraded to deluxe suite,would definitely return


Only one point to note, some cutlery was not washed properly.

I liked that it was close to a park for the kids to play, full english breakfast nice


Needed air con in the room too cool it down and room service for food!

Lack of service, pokey hot room with no view. Mass produced breakfast with hardly any staff around. No help offered with cases, find your own way around. Very overpriced for mediocre hotel
