geat room and breakfast
Really nice hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the beds were very comfortable.
Only minor negative point was the cost of the breakfast- but I suppose thats London for you.
I like the location of hotel
1) the sofa bed is horrible soft.
2) the taxi booking is horrible late (upto 20mins)
Breakfast (lovely selection) One of the reason we choose The White Hart is because cooked food is made to order).
Easy access to main roads (although it does take some skill to enter traffic flow at roundabout).
Rooms are always nice (not too warm).
Overlay on mattress makes a great difference to comfort.
Problems parking (disabled)
Unable to use cold tap in bath (used kettle to cool bath water). The tap was very stiff and even when I managed to move it a bit, nothing came out.
We were upgraded to a room with a mini bar. As the bed was a standard 4ft 6, the mini bar was the only thing extra. The mini bar had orange juice, water and 2 beers. On previous visits when we have had a room with a mini bar, there was a bottle of wine and some minatures, along with mixers and water. Is this cut-back due to the recession or did we only qualify for a mini upgrade?
Family room sofa bed was a little rickety and was not made up with a duvet just a sheet and blanket. We asked for it to be changed and it was but it meant one uncomfortable night.
The knackered lumpy bed!!
Ideal for trains 2 Twickenham.
Traffic into Hampton wick.
quiet rooms free parking
nothing to dislike
location, staff friendly & helpful
car park blocks need repairing, rain water is lifting them, frost will add further problems
The room was quiet, was upgraded upon arrival, bar was nice, free parking, free wifi, comfy bed.
