Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IndiaMe and my husband were judged by our looks. We had a security guard stopped us by the door and started asking questions. After me and my husband came back from a desert safari, the security asked where are we going, I said we were staying here at the hotel and he even asked for our room number.
Very clean and the service was good. Room service was on point.

BahrainI arrived by taxi from Sharja airport (taking about 40 minutes due to fairly heavy traffic) only to observe the absence of any bell-hop to help with my two pieces of luggage totalling 40kg. I managed; for me not too much of a big deal but some hotel patrons might really need the help. Only after I entered the hotel and approached the reception desk did a bell-hop insist on taking my luggage. The thermostat to my room on the eighth (top) floor -- room 810 -- was set to 23 degrees centrigrade (way too hot). This turns out to be not such a big deal even if the thermostat can be adjusted only down to 20 degrees; the room cooled down in about 1/2 hour. So far no great issues but, as a result of the next two items, I marked 1/2 star down each on a five-point scale. There is a minibar but it could not keep drinks very cool and you would have to wait all night for drinks to cool. [It was Ramadan so the minibar was empty (common practice) and, in general, I always would ask for it to be emptied even if it wasn't. Prefer to avoid check out delays and to stock my own (less costly) beverages ] Hence, my mini-mart trip to buy ice and additional water kept in the mini-mart refrigerator. After the meal at Cactus Jacks I needed to drink three liters of water and I like my water ice-cold. Cheap 3-star hotels in Baku and Tbilisi (I am in one in Baku right now) have excellent small refrigerators) but these chain hotels do not want to put an actual refrigerator in the room on the basis of expectation of lower revenue from sales of beverages from filled mini-bars. Water pressure, being on the 8th floor, was weak but, worse, I could not get hot water so I took a cold shower; anyway, that cold shower helped wake me up (after just four hour's sleep I was struggling to get out of sleep mode).
Proximity to the Airport. Free shuttle service is a nice perk. However, a shuttle leaves every 40 minutes and the schedule kept differed from the one on paper by 20 minutes. I wound up taking a taxi which, because of the luggage I was carrying, probably suited me better anyhow; the trip only cost 12 dirhams so, frankly. it was almost free to go to Terminal-1. The hotel also is located close to 24-hour mini-mart for buying drinks and other items e.g. ice. [Exit the maindoors turn right pass the ballroom and the Japanese restaurant and. in turn, passing the media centre buidling then turn right at corner (a walk of less that 300 meters).] NIce King bed with comfy enough pillows; I rarely like the bedding at hotels and at MIllenium Airport Hotel that was the case as the blanket was too warm for me. Instead, I used a sheet brought from home. The room is fine; well-decorated and spacious; the bathroom is, for a bathroom, quite cavernous with both a tub and a stall shower with excellent lighting in the bathroom. The Millenium hotel has several restaurants - an Italian (Da VInci), a Japanese (Fujiya) but the real draw for me is the Tex-Mex (Cactus Jacks); delicious, spicy ribs on offer but not cheap - a plate of 1/4 slab costs around 125 dirhams. Taste is stupendous and comes with excellent fries as well as cole slaw. Complimentary nachos with good salsa. When I stay in other hotels like Novotel City, I always walk to Cactus Jacks so I decided just to stay in Millenium this time. Well-stocked bar; I opted for an ice-cold Somersby bottle. Speedy check-in, check-out. I really like this hotel notwithstanding some criticisms. I was given two key cards; one could be used for the lighting. Two complementary 1/2 liters of water per day. WiFi connected fairly easily and seemed to be fast enough to watch a youtube video,
